Christmas Nut Balls
Christmas Nut Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 1/2 to 3 c. flour, powdered sugar, sifted and 2 c. finely chopped nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
For best results, shortening should be 1/2 butter and 1/2 shortening.
Cream shortening, sugar and all flavoring.
Add food coloring.
Blend in flour, salt and nuts, using your hands.
The dough will be very stiff.
Chill 1 hour.
Shape into 1-inch balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet, 15 to 20 minutes at 350Β°.
Roll in powdered sugar while hot.
