Christmas Fruit Bowl
Christmas Fruit Bowl is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 can pineapple tidbits, drained (save the juice), 2 navel oranges, 1 jar maraschino cherries, drained, set aside, sugar to taste and 2 golden delicious apples, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Do not peel apples.
Dice apples, cut oranges into small pieces and slice bananas.
Combine pineapple juice, juice of lemon and desired amount of sugar into saucepan.
Add cornstarch to thicken. Cook until clear.
Add to fruit, mix well.
Continue to chill.
Serve in champagne glasses.
Top with cherries and sprig of mint or holly leaves.
