Christmas Crisps
Christmas Crisps is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (32 oz.) jar whole sour pickles, 2 3/4 c. granulated sugar, 6 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped and 1/2 c. plus 1 tsp. tabasco sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Drain juice from pickles; slice or cut into chunks.
Rinse original jar and dry.
Layer sugar, pickles, garlic and Tabasco in jar.
Cap and let jar sit until sugar dissolves, about 15 minutes. Turn a couple of times to help sugar liquefy.
Refrigerate for 3 days before serving.
Makes 1 quart of Christmas green-colored pickles.
