Christmas Bars
Christmas Bars is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. flour, 4 eggs, beaten and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
👨🍳 Instructions
Cream butter and sugar; add flour, eggs, salt, chocolate, vanilla and nuts and mix.
Spread dough into 9 x 13-inch greased cake pan.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
Mix 10x sugar, butter and crème de menthe.
Spread over cooled cake.
Chill. Melt remaining ingredients in saucepan.
Let cool slightly and spread over second layer.
Chill and cut into squares.
