Chow Mein
Chow Mein is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. lean ground beef, 1/2 lb. ground pork, 1 large onion, chopped, 1 large green pepper, chopped and 1 whole stalk celery, cut in 1-inch pieces, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Brown hamburger and pork.
Saute green pepper and onion, then add to meat.
Add the celery and soy sauce.
Cover with water just to top of mixture.
Simmer 45 minutes to 1 hour.
When celery is cooked, add cornstarch to water to thicken.
Serve over noodles or rice.
