Chow-Chow
Chow-Chow is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 gal. cabbage, 1 qt. red and green pepper (each), 1 pt. onions, 1/2 qt. vinegar and 3 3/4 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Chop cabbage, red and green pepper and onions separately. Drain off all water.
Mix together. Add vinegar, sugar and salt. Boil for 15 minutes.
Put in jars and seal.
Makes 3 quarts.
