Chow Chow
Chow Chow is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 large green tomatoes, 1 red pepper, 2 green peppers, 4 large onions and 2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Grind tomatoes, peppers and onions using a coarse grinder. Add remaining ingredients and cook until thick (about 2 hours). Stir frequently to prevent burning.
Pack in hot sterilized jars and seal immediately.
Very good on cooked greens.
Great on hot dogs.
Makes 4 pints.
