Chow Chow
Chow Chow is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. green tomatoes, 4 c. chopped cabbage, 4 c. onions, 1/4 c. salt and 6 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cut up vegetables.
Sprinkle with salt.
Cover and let stand overnight in refrigerator.
Next day, rinse vegetables well. Combine vinegar, water, sugar and spices in pot and let these come to a boil, then add chopped vegetables.
Let boil and simmer 30 minutes.
Seal in clean jars.
Makes 8 pints.
