Chocolate Upside-Down Cake
Chocolate Upside-Down Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans, 1 1/2 c. coconut, 1 (2 layer) pkg. german chocolate or swiss chocolate cake mix, 1 c. or 2 sticks margarine and 8 oz. cream cheese, softened, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Sprinkle pecans and coconut in buttered 9 x 13-inch pan. Prepare cake mix as per package directions.
Spoon over nuts and coconut.
Combine remaining ingredients in mixer bowl until smooth.
Spoon evenly over cake, leaving 1-inch edge.
Bake at 350Β° for 50 minutes.
Cream cheese mixture will sink to bottom to form frosting.
Cool in pan.
Cut into squares.
