Chocolate Turtle Cake
Chocolate Turtle Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 german chocolate cake mix, 1 (14 oz.) pkg. kraft caramels, 3/4 c. butter, 1/2 c. eagle brand milk and 1 c. mini chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Unwrap caramels and set aside in saucepan.
Mix cake according to package.
Grease and flour pan. Bake 1/2 of cake mixture in greased pan for 15 minutes.
Melt together butter, milk and caramels on low heat.
Remove cake from oven.
Pour caramel mixture over cake.
Sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans over caramel evenly.
Spread rest of cake batter over top.
Bake another 20 to 25 minutes.
When toothpick comes out clean (in top layer of cake), cake is done.
Cool for 1 hour.
Use oblong cake pan.
