Chocolate Trifle
Chocolate Trifle is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (18 oz.) pkg. chocolate cake mix, 1 (6 oz.) pkg. instant chocolate pudding, 1/2 c. strong coffee, 1 (12 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed and 6 heath bars (1/4 oz. each), crushed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bake cake according to package directions; cool.
Prepare pudding according to package directions; set aside.
Crumble cake; reserve 1/2 cup.
Place half of remaining cake crumbs in the bottom of a trifle dish or decorated glass bowl.
Layer with 1/2 the coffee, 1/2 the pudding, 1/2 the whipped topping and 1/2 the crushed candy bars.
Repeat layers.
Combine remaining crushed candy bars with reserved cake crumbs; sprinkle over top. Refrigerate 4 to 5 hours.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
