Chocolate Trifle
Chocolate Trifle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box devil's food cake mix, 1 large pkg. instant chocolate pudding, 2 1/2 c. milk, 1/2 c. amaretto or omit and use additional 1/2 c. milk and 12 oz. whipped topping, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Bake cake according to package directions in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Cool; cut into small squares.
Prepare pudding according to package directions, using milk and Amaretto.
Allow pudding to thicken.
In a glass trifle dish, layer 1/2 of cake squares, 1/2 of pudding, 1/2 of Heath bars and 1/2 of whipped topping.
Repeat layers; sprinkle top with crushed Heath bits.
Cover; refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
