Chocolate Trifle
Chocolate Trifle is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (19.8 oz.) pkg. fudge brownie mix, 1/2 c. kahlua or other coffee-flavored liqueur, 2 (3.9 oz.) pkg. instant chocolate pudding mix, 1 (12 oz.) container frozen whipped topping, thawed and 1 pkg. heath english toffee bits or 5 heath bars, crushed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Prepare brownie mix and bake according to package directions in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Prick top of warm brownies at 1-inch intervals using a fork; drizzle with Kahlua.
Let cool and crumble. Prepare pudding mix according to package directions, omitting chilling.
Place 1/2 of crumbled brownies in bottom of a 2-quart trifle dish.
Top with 1/2 each of pudding, whipped topping and crushed toffee bits.
Repeat layers with remaining ingredients, ending with toffee bits.
Chill 8 hours.
