Chocolate Satin Frosting
Chocolate Satin Frosting is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sifted 10x sugar, 3 tbsp. hot water, 3 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted, 1 slightly beaten egg and 6 tbsp. soft butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Blend sugar and hot water into chocolate.
With spoon, beat half of egg into chocolate mixture.
Beat in remaining 1/2 egg. Beat in butter, one tablespoon at a time.
Blend in vanilla or rum extract.
Frosting will be thin.
Place bowl in ice water and beat until spreading consistency.
