Chocolate Refrigerator Pie
Chocolate Refrigerator Pie is an impressive dinner. Made with 20 marshmallows, 2/3 c. milk, 4 almond hershey bars, 1/2 pt. whipping cream and 1 c. molasses, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Simmer molasses and shortening for 15 minutes.
In a large bowl, cream sugar, egg and vanilla.
Dissolve soda in hot water. Add soda/water mixture to sugar mixture, then add cloves, cinnamon, salt and ginger.
Add molasses mixture, then beat in 6 cups flour.
Roll out dough.
No flour is needed when rolling out dough.
Cut out figures.
Bake 6 to 10 minutes at 375Β°.
Makes 48 large figures.
