Chocolate Pound Cake

Cream butter and shortening; add sugar and eggs, one at a time.
Beat after each addition.
Sift flour, baking powder, cocoa and salt.
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk.
Add vanilla before last flour. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan, 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325Β°.
Does not need icing, but can ice.
