Chocolate Pound Cake
Chocolate Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 1/2 c. crisco, 2 sticks butter, 6 eggs and 1/2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cream Crisco, butter and sugar.
Add eggs one at a time.
Sift flour, salt, baking powder, and cocoa (sift 3 times).
Add to mixture beginning with flour, liquid, flour.
Add vanilla with milk.
Blend until creamy.
Pour into a greased and floured tube pan.
Bake one hour and 30 minutes at 300Β°.
Let cool and remove cake from pan.
