Chocolate Pie
Chocolate Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 baked 9-inch pie shell, cooked, 1 can eagle brand milk, 2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate, 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/4 c. hot water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

In double boiler combine Eagle Brand milk, chocolate and salt. Cook and stir until thick.
Gradually add hot water.
Continue stirring and cooking until mixture thickens (2 to 5 minutes). Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla.
Chill mixture in refrigerator and cool, then fold in whipping cream.
Pour into pastry shell. Refrigerate for 4 hours.
