Separate eggs.
Beat yolks well.
Mix cocoa and sugar in saucepan.
Add hot water, butter and eggs.
Dissolve cornstarch in a little water.
Mix and stir.
Cook over medium heat until thick. Pour in cooked pastry pie shell.
Top with meringue.
Makes 2 (9-inch) pies.
