Mix sugar, flour and cocoa together.
Add milk and beaten egg yolks.
Cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Add vanilla and butter, stirring in well.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Heat oven to 425Β°.
Make meringue by beating egg whites and sugar until peak forms.
Spread meringue over pie; bake until meringue is brown.
