Chocolate Pie
Chocolate Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, 1 c. sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 3 c. milk and 4 tbsp. cornstarch, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Melt chocolate; mix together sugar, salt, milk and cornstarch; then blend with chocolate and let come to a slow boil, stirring until a pudding forms.
Beat eggs in a separate bowl and add several tablespoons of chocolate mixture, beating all the time. Add to cooked mixture, mixing well.
Remove from heat and add vanilla.
Beat to remove lumps, then pour into prepared pie crust.
