Chocolate Pecan Bars
Chocolate Pecan Bars is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 44 minutes. Made with c. unsifted flour, c. confectioners sugar, c. hershey's cocoa, c. cold margarine or butter and (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Preheat oven to 350° (325° for glass dish).
In large bowl, combine flour, sugar and cocoa; cut in margarine until crumbly (mixture will be dry).
Press firmly on bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Bake 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, in medium bowl, beat sweetened condensed milk, egg and vanilla; mix well.
Stir in nuts.
Spread evenly over crust.
Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool.
Store covered in refrigerator.
Freeze well too.
