Chocolate Nut Balls
Chocolate Nut Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces, 1 c. sifted powdered sugar, 1 egg, 2 tbsp. butter and 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Melt in saucepan the chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring frequently.
Remove pan from heat.
Cool to lukewarm. Beat in egg until smooth and glossy.
Add sugar, vanilla and salt; mix well.
Stir in 1/2 coconut.
Chill 1 hour.
Roll into 1-inch balls, then coat in balance of coconut.
Chill 3 hours until firm on cookie sheet in refrigerator.
Makes 2 1/2 dozen balls.
