Chocolate Mousse
Chocolate Mousse is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tsp. unflavored gelatin, 1 tbsp. cold water, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 tbsp. boiling water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Sprinkle gelatin over cold water in small bowl.
Stir and let stand 1 minute to soften.
Add boiling water and stir until all gelatin is dissolved.
Must be clear.
Stir together sugar and cocoa in small cold mixer bowl.
Add heavy cream and vanilla.
Beat at medium speed until stiff peaks form.
Pour in gelatin mixture and beat until well blended.
Heap into a dome shape in bowl and chill 1/2 hour.
Drizzle chocolate syrup over mousse if desired. To double recipe use 1 envelope gelatin and double remaining ingredients.
