Chocolate Mousse is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 eggs (room temperature), 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips, 10 tbsp. butter, 1/4 c. brandy and 4 oz. large chocolate bar, shaved, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Melt butter and chocolate chips in top of double boiler (or on low power in microwave).

Beat in egg yolks, one at a time.

Cool slightly.

Stir in brandy (or Kahlua or any flavored liquer). Beat egg whites into stiff peaks.

Fold whites into the chocolate mixture, gently blending.

Spoon into 8 separate dishes or 1 large dish.

Refrigerate.

Before serving, garnish with whipped cream and shaved chocolate curls.
