Chocolate Mousse
Chocolate Mousse is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 oz. semi-sweet chocolate bits, 4 tbsp. water, 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring, 1 1/2 tbsp. butter and 4 egg yolks, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Melt the chocolate and water together in a small pan.
Stir in the vanilla flavoring and butter, then the egg yolks, 1 at a time. Beat the egg whites until stiff.
Fold the chocolate mixture into the egg whites, using a rubber spatula or a metal spoon.
When thoroughly mixed, pour into a glass bowl.
Cover and chill overnight.
Serve with whipped cream on top.
