Melt first 3 ingredients in top of double boiler.
Stir when melted.
Cool slightly.
Add vanilla and egg yolks beaten in separately, beat well after adding the yolks.
Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into chocolate mixture.
Pour into baked 9-inch crust.
