Chocolate Marbled Pound Cake
Chocolate Marbled Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. butter, 2 1/4 c. sugar, 6 eggs, separated, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract and 3 c. self rising flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add egg yolks and vanilla.
Beat until well blended.
Alternately add flour an milk to batter a little at a time until blended.
Beat the egg white until stiff and gently fold them into the batter.
Take 1/3 of the batter and stir in chocolate syrup.
Layer batter in tube or bundt pan as follows: Pour 1/2 of white batter into the greased pan.
Pour in chocolate batter and then pour in remaining white batter.
Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
When cool, turn out and dust with confectioners sugar.
