Sift dry ingredients together in a large bowl. In saucepan, mix oleo, water and Crisco. Bring to a rapid boil. Pour over dry ingredients.
Mix buttermilk, eggs and soda together and then add to the other ingredients. Bake at 400Β° for 20 minutes. (Pour into a 9 x 12-inch greased and floured cake pan.)
