Chocolate Grasshopper Delight
Chocolate Grasshopper Delight is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 20 oreo cookies, crushed (plus 5 oreos for topping), 1 stick butter, 3 sq. unsweetened chocolate, 3 eggs, beaten and 2 c. confectioners sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Spread crushed Oreos in bottom of 9 x 13-inch ungreased pan. Melt in double boiler the butter and chocolate.
Add eggs to cooled mixture, then add sugar.
Spread this mixture over Oreos and freeze for 25 minutes.
Soften ice cream and add 1/2 cup crème de menthe.
Pour over fudge mixture.
Crush 5 Oreos and sprinkle on top.
Freeze overnight.
