Chocolate Fudge
Chocolate Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 1 c. evaporated milk, 3/4 stick butter or margarine, 12 oz. chocolate chips and 1 c. chopped nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Stir the sugar, milk and butter over a low flame until it comes to a boil.
Boil (stirring constantly) until a soft ball forms (when adding 1/4 of a teaspoon of mixture to 1/2 cup of cold water).
This takes about 15 minutes.
Then remove from stove, stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Stir until chocolate chips are melted.
Then add Hip-O-Lite and swirl through mixture.
Pour in buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
Chill before slicing.
Makes about 4 pounds of fudge.
