Chocolate Frosting
Chocolate Frosting is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. crisco shortening, melted (or butter or margarine), 1/2 c. cocoa, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/3 c. milk and 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Combine melted Crisco, cocoa and salt, then add milk and vanilla.
Mix in sugar in 3 parts. Mix until smooth and creamy. Add more sugar to thicken or milk to thin if needed for good spreading consistency.
Frosts two 8 or 9-inch layers or a 13 x 9-inch cake.
