Chocolate Frosting
Chocolate Frosting is an easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. chocolate pudding mix (not instant), 1/2 c. milk, 1/2 stick unsalted butter or margarine (soft), 1 box (1 lb.) sifted confectioners sugar and 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Slowly pour milk into pudding in a saucepan, stirring constantly over low heat to keep smooth.
Add softened butter or margarine.
Continue cooking over low heat, stirring constantly, until it begins to boil.
Remove from heat.
Gradually beat in the sifted confectioners sugar.
Add vanilla and cool.
If the frosting is too thick, a little milk may be added to spread easily.
This will frost and fill a 9-inch layer cake.
