Chocolate Frosting
Chocolate Frosting is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 3 rounded tbsp. cocoa, 1 tbsp. flour, pinch of salt and 1 tbsp. white karo syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

In a heavy saucepan, mix sugar, cocoa, flour and salt together.
Add syrup, water, butter and eggs; mix well.
Cook 10 minutes or more, until thickened, stirring continuously.
Cool about 15 minutes.
Add vanilla.
Beat about 5 minutes and spread over any layer cake.
Covers about 4 layers.
