Chocolate Chippers
Chocolate Chippers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 1/2 c. granulated sugar, 1/4 c. brown sugar, 1 egg and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream shortening, sugars, egg and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Sift together dry ingredients; stir into creamed mixture and blend well.
Add chocolate.
Drop from teaspoon 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake in moderate oven (375Β°) for 10 to 12 minutes.
Remove from sheet immediately.
Makes 3 dozen.
