Preheat oven to 375°.
In small bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda and salt.
In a large bowl, combine margarine, sugar and vanilla with wooden spoon.
Beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add dry ingredients; mix well.
Stir in chocolate chips
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
375° oven for 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
Makes about 8 dozen 2-inch cookies.
