Chocolate Chip Bars
Chocolate Chip Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. granulated sugar, 1/3 c. packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. margarine, softened, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Heat oven to 375Β°.
Grease and flour baking pan (13 x 9 x 2-inch).
Mix sugars, margarine and vanilla.
Beat in egg.
Stir in flour, baking soda and salt.
Mix in nuts and chocolate chips. Spread dough in pan.
Bake until light brown, 12 to 14 minutes. Cool; cut into bars (about 2 x 1 1/2 inches).
Makes 3 dozen cookies.
