Chocolate Cherry Cake
Chocolate Cherry Cake is an easy dinner. Made with 1 box any chocolate cake mix, 1 can cherry pie filling, 1 pkg. chocolate pudding and 1 (8 oz.) cool whip, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Follow directions on cake mix, except for the following: instead of oil and/or water, add the cherry pie filling.
Bake as directions state.
While baking the cake, make the pudding, per the instructions (this can be shaker top or cooked pudding).
When cake is completely cool, cover with pudding and refrigerate overnight (or 8 hours).
Add Cool Whip to top of cake as a frosting.
Sprinkle with cherries, chocolate sprinkles, etc.
