Blend sugar and flour.
Then in a saucepan, bring to boil the next 3 ingredients.
Pour over sugar and flour mixture then mix and add buttermilk, soda, and eggs, then add vanilla. Put in 11 x 16 inch pan for 20 minutes at 400Β°.
