Chocolate Cake
Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 2 c. plain flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 c. water and 1/2 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix in bowl the sugar, flour and salt.
Mix in saucepan the water, shortening, oleo and cocoa.
Bring water mixture to a boil; pour over flour and sugar and stir well.
Add eggs, buttermilk, soda and vanilla.
Pour in 8 x 11-inch pan and bake in 350Β° oven until done, approximately 35 minutes.
