Mix in bowl the sugar, flour and salt.
Mix in saucepan the water, shortening, oleo and cocoa.
Bring water mixture to a boil; pour over flour and sugar and stir well.
Add eggs, buttermilk, soda and vanilla.
Pour in 8 x 11-inch pan and bake in 350Β° oven until done, approximately 35 minutes.
