Chocolate Cake
Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. cocoa, 1 c. hot coffee, 1/2 c. shortening, 1 1/4 c. sugar and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix cocoa with hot coffee; set aside.
Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Mix flour, salt, soda and baking powder and add to shortening mixture, alternating dry ingredients and cocoa mixture.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 40 minutes.
This is good with 7 Minute Icing.
