Beat together butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time. Sift together, flour, baking powder and salt.
Add to sugar mixture.
Beat well.
Add chocolate syrup and mix.
Bake at 350Β° in 9 x 13 inch pan about 35 minutes or until done.
