Chocolate Cake
Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 lb. butter, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. brown sugar, 6 egg yolks and 3 tbsp. cold water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream butter and sugar thoroughly.
Add chocolate.
Add egg yolks, which have been beaten well with water.
Sift flour, soda and salt 3 times.
Add to first mixture alternately with buttermilk until all are used.
Beat until well mixed.
Add vanilla.
Bake in 2 large layer pans (1 1/2 x 9-inch) for about 35 minutes in a 350Β° oven.
Use a seven minute frosting between layers and a chocolate frosting on top and sides.
