Chocolate Butterscotch Brittle
Chocolate Butterscotch Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 sticks butter, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 12 oz. chocolate morsels (semi-sweet or milk chocolate), 12 oz. butterscotch morsels and 1 box saltine crackers or more to accommodate breakage), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Preheat oven to 400Β°.
Line 2 large cookie sheets with foil. Arrange single layer of saltine crackers on each sheet.
Melt butter.
Add sugar and boil for one minute.
Pour 1/2 of mixture over each sheet of saltines and spread to cover all saltines. Cook in oven for 5 minutes or until bubbling.
Remove from oven and immediately pour one 12 ounce package of morsels over each sheet and spread quickly.
If chips do not melt, place back in oven.
Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
Refrigerate sheets until hard. Remove brittle from cookie sheet.
Peel off foil.
Break into pieces by hand.
