Chocolate Almond Rice Brittle
Chocolate Almond Rice Brittle is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. granulated sugar, 1 c. rice crisp and 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
In heavy skillet, melt the butter.
Add sugar.
Stir to combine well.
Cook over low heat, stirring for 12 minutes until mixture is golden brown.
Stir in rice crisp to blend well. Immediately spread hot mixture into a lightly greased jelly roll pan.
Sprinkle with the chocolate chips.
As soon as they start to melt, spread chocolate in an even layer all over the top.
Let cool slightly.
Then put in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to cool completely.
Crack or break candy into pieces.
