Choco-Chip Meringue Bars
Choco-Chip Meringue Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box pillsbury fudge cake mix, 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened, 2 tbsp. water, 1 box pillsbury fluffy white frosting mix and 1/2 c. boiling water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Combine first 3 ingredients in a large bowl.
Mix by hand until well combined.
Press into a 13 x 9-inch or a
10-inch
Prepare frosting mix as directed on package; spread frosting on unbaked fudge base. Keep frosting about
2-inches from pan edge.
(Frosting will spread while baking.)
Sprinkle pecans and chocolate chips over frosting. Bake
20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted near comes out clean. (Choco-chips will not melt.) Yield: 3 dozen bars.
