Chinese Fried Walnuts
Chinese Fried Walnuts is an easy dinner. Made with 4 c. walnut halves, 1/2 c. sugar and 6 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Bring the water to a boil; add the walnuts.
Return to boil and boil for 1 minute.
Drain.
Dump into large bowl with the sugar; stir to coat well.
Heat 1 inch of oil to 350Β°.
Fry half of the nuts at a time until golden brown.
Stir occasionally to keep from sticking.
Drain on a foil-covered cookie sheet.
(Don't use paper towels.)
