Chinese Beets
Chinese Beets is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 cans whole beets, 1 c. sugar, 2 level tbsp. cornstarch, 1 c. vinegar and 24 whole cloves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

In a large pan, dump in sugar and cornstarch.
Mix well.
Add vinegar, cloves, catsup, oil and vanilla.
Stir well again.
Add beat juice. Cut beets into bite size pieces and add to fluid. Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens.
Cool and refrigerate.
