Chili Pie
Chili Pie is an moderately easy soup you can prepare in about 1 hour 22 minutes. Made with . ground beef, c. chopped onion, (7 1/2 oz.) can whole tomatoes, drained and cut up, (1 1/4 oz.) envelope chili seasoning mix and (2.25 oz.) can sliced ripe olives, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Heat oven to 400Β°.
Grease a 10 x 1 1/2-inch pie plate.
Cook and stir ground beef in 10-inch skillet until brown.
Drain. Stir in onion, tomatoes and seasoning mix (dry).
Spread in plate. Sprinkle with olives and cheese. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high or 1 minute with hand beater.
Pour into plate.
Bake until knife inserted between center and edge comes out clean, 30 to 35 minutes. Cool 5 minutes. Serve with sour cream, shredded lettuce and chopped tomatoes, if desired.
