Chili Mac
Chili Mac is an impressive soup you can prepare in about 1 hour 18 minutes. Made with . ground beef, medium onion, chopped, c. chopped green pepper, (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes and (15 oz.) can kidney beans (undrained), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
In a large skillet, cook meat, onion and green pepper until meat is browned and vegetables are tender. (Electric skillet at 350°.) Drain off fat
Stir in tomatoes, beans, tomato sauce, water, chili powder, salt and bay leaf
Bring to a boil, then add macaroni
Cover and reduce heat to low (220°)
Simmer, stirring frequently, until macaroni is cooked (about 10 to 15 minutes)
Remove the bay leaf before serving
Serves 6.
